Wednesday Evenings from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Each Children’s Wellness Group begins with time for meditation and breathing, moves into an energetic yoga practice, and concludes with interactive activities and games focused on social-emotional skills, such as emotional coping, friendship skills, and cooperation.

Barton Hill Hotel and Spa proudly announces the Spa Day Retreat which combines a luxury hotel experience with the classic spa therapies. The Spa Day Retreat is the latest innovation of the Spa industry which is offered by only a handful of “state of the art” luxury spa/hotels in the the United States, Canada and Europe. Early innovators include hotels in Bangkok, Hong Kon, Dubai, and more recently Miami, Scottsdale and Palm Springs.  All very upscale luxury oriented destinations. This is not the commonplace hotel “in room massage” service. While approaches vary, the concept is to bring the Spa experience to the guest.

Barton Hill has evolved this concept with “The Barton Embrace”. The Spa Day Retreat offers all of the amenities of a private luxury hotel room with the addition of spa therapy space in conjunction with the guest’s retreat. Guests may enter their Spa Therapy room via a connecting or adjacent door where service providers will be ready for those spa experiences pre selected by the guest. Services include the complete Spa menu of Massage therapy such as Hot Stone, Swedish, Deep Tissue and other types for individuals or couples. Other therapies include Esthetician services, pedicures and manicures. Services may be offered to one or more guests at a time or in sequence as desired.

The Spa Day Retreat accommodates for the guest to have spa therapies at their own pace and enjoy returning to their luxury guest suite before and after treatments to create the ultimate spa benefit of relaxation and pampering. Guests do not “check in” at a Spa reception desk or share a meditation room with strangers between therapies. Hotel guests do not have to walk to the Hotel Spa or move between floors to receive services. Nor does the guest feel their personal space invaded with the traditional “in room” service approach.

The Spa comes to the guest with treatment rooms located conveniently nearby. The Spa client maintains his/her privacy of their own space in a luxurious guest room enhancing the complete Spa experience. The “Barton Embrace” is available for a five- hour period with three spa services offered in the adjacent treatment room. Additional services and time may be added as the guest wishes. In-suite spa gourmet lunches or dinners are also available as desired. Each guest room includes the Barton Hill trademark amenities …canopy bed, fireplace, Italian linen, flat panel hi-definition television and a sweeping view of the Niagara Gorge. The stay may be extended to an overnight experience for only $130 more per night. The Spa Day Retreat is a wonderful getaway as a couple or for a ladies spa getaway, as well as for the individual seeking rejuvenation and serenity.
